TO ALL TEAMS
The OISL had to reschedule some games due to the loss of time at BMO of 8 hours at end of season and at Soccer Centre of 16 Hours.  That is why rescheduling of some games had to occur due to  time lost in these facilities and time given on other days not schedule originally.

Red and Yellow Card Rules

For 6-a-side and 11-a-side: Indoor Rules are followed - if a player receives a red card then there is a five-minute penalty given and the player is ejected.  A new player may enter the field of play after the five minutes.  If a player receives a yellow card then there may be a two minute penalty given upon the referee's discretion.  If a player receives two yellow cards in a game then a red card applies.

 For 11-a-side: Coaches need to have their teams ready to start at the scheduled time.  There is not a time to warm-up on the field as the facility is booked to run on time.  Coaches may warm-up 5 minutes prior to the end of the previous game on the sidelines.  If the teams are not ready to start at their scheduled time the game may be shortened by the official.

Season for Eleven a side Boys division will start Nov/08/09/ 2008
Girls Divisions will start Nov/22/08(some div may start Nov/08 (eight teams)
Under six a side under 12 boys will start Nov/09/08 at Soccer Centre
All other Divisions Six a side will start Nov/22/08

OISL will have Division(s) playing 11 players on a full size field

Ages Under 13 to Under 18 Boys/ Girls with Maximum 6/8 teams per Division

All players must have present a valid OSA  book at all times, in any game to be able to participate

Playing format is Five (5) Players and a Goalkeeper for all ages from U8   to U12

From ages 13 to 18 teams will play full size field eleven a side starting in 2008/09 Season.

November 5th, 2007
All Head coaches and Asst. coaches, whose team plays in the OISL, must have an O.S.A. Senior Community coaching certification.
